OUR STORY

At GREEN ACRES APIARY we do two things very well and those are honey and bees.  We sell honey locally to several retail locations as well as at Shenandoah Bee Supply store.  We supply them with quality queens and the surrounding area with quality queens, nucleus hives, and packages from northern GA.  

The owner has been a beekeeper for over 50 years, and he is also a master beekeeper educated at UHK.  His wife Becky has learned a lot about beekeeping in the 8 years she has been working with her husband in the bee yard which she now runs and maintains the production hives.  Bill maintains the breeding program so that he can ensure quality mated queens with every grafting he or his apprentice do during the queen season.  We love the Latshaw breed since they are wonderful to work with and to bee around.  They are gentle and non-aggressive.  We would love to hear from you with your questions or requests for speaking engagements at local clubs or your conference.
